- As the originator of the question I have (at the moment) a good reason for two
- ISPs. My original ISP (internet-eireann) can be hard to log on to at peak
- times (read impossible:-( and has quite bad newsfeeds (via sprint) and a slow
- connection to the outside world. On the plus side, they know what they are
- talking about, the newsfeeds are fast and they support the Amiga. My second
- ISP (indigo) are a new company with very fast connections (10x what I am used
- to) and much better news feeds, plus they only cost รบ30(~$48) for the first
- year. On the downside they have a slow news server and I don't think they know
- what an Amiga is :-(.
-
- Using the one resolv.conf would be rather iffy. In tests, pinging from one
- provider to the other takes around 4-5 _seconds_ (not miliseconds).
- Considering they are in the same city that is a bit long for my liking.
-

-
- Not yet, but give me time :-)
